What's the difference between Ancestry and Genealogy Research?
Genealogy is the study of finding facts about people, locating records for birth, marriage, and death dates, census lists, ship manifests, and tracking their family lineage through the generations.
Ancestry research goes into much further detail about a person, learning what church they attended, photographs, or letters they wrote while they were away at war. The personal details about a person gives more depth to the celebration of their life and involvement in their family.
