Reporting Errors: Handwriting to database errors

During my research on the Croke family name, looking through various census documents from the 1800's to the 1900's, I found a family named "Leroke" in a Westchester County census. I knew the handwriting was transcribed onto various genealogical sites as Leroke but should be listed as Croke in these databases.

Once you can confirm the family names at that address, and you know that an error has occurred, be sure to notify the sites of the error and send proof that the correction is valid.
